SUNORA SOLAR × Laalo · Official Partner
The Opportunity
A Blockbuster. A Window. A Decision Made Fast.
Laalo wasn’t just another film — it was a cultural phenomenon in Gujarat. A superhit Gujarati movie with enormous word-of-mouth momentum, it was on the verge of a Hindi national release that would take its audience from one state to all of India. The excitement was real, the reach was growing, and the timing was everything.
Sunora Solar spotted that window. An Ahmedabad-based agency connected both brands, and the deal came together: Sunora Solar would become the official partner of Laalo — receiving 2,000 free movie tickets as part of the collaboration. The question then was: what do you do with 2,000 tickets that creates the maximum brand impact?
You don’t just give them away. You build a campaign around them.

Comment the Right Answer
"Sunora Solar ke core values kya hain?"
This was never a throwaway quiz line. Anyone who answered it — whether they won or not — had just voluntarily researched, recalled, and typed Sunora Solar’s values into a public comment. That is brand education at scale, powered entirely by the desire to win a movie ticket.

Brand Alignment
What This Built
Brand Awareness at Every Layer of the Funnel
Top of Funnel — Mass Awareness Through Cultural Association
The Laalo partnership put Sunora Solar in front of a massive, emotionally invested audience that had nothing to do with solar panels — and that was the point. People following Laalo's release encountered Sunora Solar in a context that felt exciting, not commercial. That first impression — "Sunora Solar is associated with this film I love" — is the hardest kind of awareness to buy and the easiest for a consumer to remember.
Mid Funnel — Active Engagement & Involuntary Brand Learning
Every person who entered the contest had to research and answer a question about Sunora Solar's core values. They engaged with the brand actively — reading, thinking, typing. Their tagged friend also saw the brand. By the time someone pressed "Comment," they had already spent more time thinking about Sunora Solar than any paid ad would have given them.
Bottom of Funnel — Real-World Experience in a Dark Cinema Hall
2,000 people sat in a cinema holding a ticket that Sunora Solar gave them. They watched a film about divine energy, power, and radiance — and Sunora Solar was the reason they were there. That's not an impression. That's an experience. And experiences are what brand loyalty is built from.
Beyond the Campaign — A Permanent Audience
Every participant became a follower. Every tagged friend became a potential new audience member. The campaign ran for seven days but the community it built — people who actively chose to follow @sunorasolar — remained reachable long after the last ticket was claimed.
